Kings Lodge is a retirement housing complex comprising 57 single bedroom apartments and one two bedroom apartment, all easily accessible to everyone, including those confined to a wheelchair.
There is a full calendar of events each month for residents to attend should they wish including carpet bowls, quizzes, film nights, keep fit and bingo – to name but a few.
Kings Lodge is situated opposite North Finchley bus station and a ten minute walk from two tube stations. There is a High Street full of shops including a wide variety of restaurants, and Aldi and Waitrose are a one and two minute walk away.

Kings Lodge is well-known for its beautiful gardens – Dove Haven
A few steps from the hustle and bustle of Kingsway is Kings Lodge’s own oasis. These communal gardens, including shrubs and planters throughout the yards and walkways, belong to all the residents and are maintained by one of the residents, John Dove, after whom the gardens are named.
He is assisted by a company who maintain the lawns and hedges to ensure the garden always looks its best.
Tables and chairs are placed outside so all residents can take advantage of sunny weather and enjoy the flowers and plants.

The apartments
There are 57 single bedroom apartments and one two bedroom apartment.
Built in 1990 and run by Ballancare Ltd, the buildings are carefully designed making all communal facilities and all rooms in the private apartments easily accessible to everyone, including those confined to a wheelchair.
Every individual apartment is privately occupied and self-contained and residents are at liberty to use the communal facilities as much or as little as they want.
